Human relationships

Is there anything more difficult to understand than human relationships? Why do we feel so attracted to some people and so distant from another? One ight say that it has something to do with sharing the same interests and being almost a soul matte. But how many of us love to spend time with someone who apparently has nothing to do with us? No shared interests nor expectations of any kind. Ultimately we love to be in love and to be loved. We like the way the others look at us when they are in love with us. They see us the way we would like to be: flawless, perfect. Or at least almost perfect...
